Holiday Shopping Tips for Parents!

Christmas is only 52 days away and holiday sales have already kicked off! This also means shipping delays and supply chain issues have begun. It's more important than ever not to fall behind on completing your little one's wish lists, because 'last minute' this year might be a few minutes too late! To relieve some of your stress, we've put together a shortlist of holiday parenting tips to keep 'Santa' ahead of the game.

1. Make a List and Check it Twice!

Making a list could be a great way to keep track of everything and everyone on your shopping 'to-do'! Have your little ones create their wish lists early. Don't forget to pull a Santa Claus and check it twice so you don't forget something!

2. Set a Budget

It's important that when you make your gift list, you also lay out a budget. This way you can balance your list and jump on those deals early on with confidence. Creating a spending limit for every gift and person will help you stay on budget, complete your list, and WIN this holiday season!

3. Sign Up for Emails!

Sign up for newsletters for every and any wish list item you can! Try to do so a little bit ahead of time if you can. You'll have access to the best deals out there and many retailers (like us!) offer a discount just for signing up. And don't worry too much about email spam - better email providers and privacy laws make it easier than ever to unsubscribe from email lists.

4. Shop Early!

The shipping delays and inventory problems that you've heard about in the news have already begun! Getting a head start is never a bad idea, especially if you want your gifts to arrive on time. Take advantage of early sales (like ours!) while you can before they, and your hopes for an on-time gift, disappear!

5. Shop Online

Save yourself time and travel costs by shopping online. You'll also save yourself the heartache of items that sell out in brick-and-mortar stores, which is sure to be a big problem this year. Not only that, but you get to beat the crowds and shop from your couch! Moreover, shopping online gives you time to research the best sales, explore items in more detail, and buy knowing you're getting a great deal.

6. Look for FREE shipping

It's the holiday season, meaning it's giving season. You're bound to score free shipping deals from several retailers, especially when spending a minimum amount. At Womple Studios, shipping on subscription boxes is always free!

7. Shop Unique Gifts

Popular toys fly off the shelves every year, and are sure to disappear this year. Unique, well-thought-out gifts could be the better option. Gifting an experience creates a meaningful gift for your little one that'll stay in their mind long after a toy becomes yesterday's news. WompleBox makes the perfect gift for an experience that fits under the tree AND lasts a lifetime!

Remember to get started on your shopping ASAP and stay up to date on deals. We'll let you in on a little secret, if you sign up for our newsletter, we promise you won't be disappointed with our upcoming sales and giveaways! We hope you find our holiday parenting tips useful!
